Fact of life: it takes some of us longer than others to determine what we will do when we grow up — a LOT longer!
I grew up in the same small town in central New Hampshire where I subsequently raised my own two children. Before I knew it, I was on the sidelines watching with great pride and admiration as those two young adults went out into the world — all over the world! to build on their own dreams.
What were my dreams? I had always enjoyed photography and I need to be creative. A great leap of faith landed me in professional photography classes at 53 years of age. The great discovery was that not only did I enjoy photography, I am passionate about it.
I hope the images I have chosen to share with you bring as much delight, amusement, joy and relaxation to you as they did to me as I was experiencing them.
Simple and peaceful moments in nature or with people sharing their special places and moments in time is where I most like to be. I fully embrace the Japanese Wabi Sabi art form that honors perfection in the imperfect . . . beauty in things modest, humble and unconventional.
Please contact me if you like my work and would like me to record an image from the heart for you.
